Update 31st March 2023

In our commitment to balancing the health, wellbeing, needs and preferences of all members of the Boandik community, we would like to re-iterate the following protective measures across all of Boandik's residential services:

For staff in non-outbreak services:

  • Staff working with residents must wear a P2 mask whilst at work
  • Staff who are not in direct contact with residents may now wear a surgical grade face mask
  • All staff must complete a RAT prior to commencing work daily
  • All staff must register attendance via Zipline prior to commencing work and sign out prior to leaving

For staff in a home with a Covid-19 outbreak:

  • Staff working in a green zone must wear a P2 mask at all times and no longer required to wear eye protection
  • Staff working in an Orange or Red Zone must wear full PPE
  • All staff must complete a RAT prior to commencing work daily
  • All staff must register attendance via Zipline prior to commencing work and sign out prior to leaving

For Visitors attending a non-outbreak service

  • Register attendance at the site via Zipline located at each reception area
  • Complete a rapid antigen test (RAT) prior to entry (available from reception)
  • Wear a surgical grade mask (available from reception) throughout the visit

For Visitors attending an area zoned as Green in a service with an active outbreak

  • Register attendance at the home via Zipline located at each reception area
  • Complete a rapid antigen test (RAT) prior to entry (available from reception)
  • Wear a P2 mask (available at reception) throughout the visit
  • Restrict your movement during the visit, to the private room of your relative/friend

For Visitors attending an area of a service zoned as Orange and/or Red

  • Register attendance at the home via Zipline located at each reception area
  • Complete a rapid antigen test (RAT) prior to entry (available from reception)
  • Wear full PPE and a P2 mask (available at the entry to the zone). Staff will assist with the correct PPE donning and doffing processes as required
  • Restrict your movement during the visit, to the private room of your relative/friend

Again, I would like to sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to work together to preserve the safety and wellbeing of all members of the Boandik community.
