Home support program
The home support program is how most people first access services. The program provides low levels of support to assist people to live well in their home and community.
The individualised bundle of services will be designed by the client and can include:-
- Social and recreational support
- Domestic assistance
- Personal care
- Travel to appointments and shopping
- Allied health services including podiatry, physiotherapy and occupational therapy
Eligibility
This program is available to people over 65.
Clients can access services through the My Aged Care website or by calling My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
The same services are available to younger people with a disability who are ageing through the home and community care program.
